Pre-Kindergarten
The Four/Five Year Old Pre-K Program at Discovery Harbor is designed to bridge academic objectives between Preschool and Kindergarten. The students will get a quality education that will prepare them for their first year of Kindergarten. The Thematic Units are designed to assess the learning process of each individual student, while the focus of positive behavior will help the students establish a sense of good character and promote a good sense of self.
The program will develop the student’s ability to achieve academic and social success on an individual level. Our goal is to help make the transition to Kindergarten an easy process for both student and parent. In the Spring, the students will visit an elementary school classroom and have lunch to simulate their upcoming adventure into Kindergarten.
There will be a graduation program and pictures to showcase your child’s success at the end of the academic school year.
